Franklin School Has a New Footprint

JM Engineering has been coordinating with the architectural design team at L’Heureux Page Werner, PC for many months on the design for the new Franklin Elementary School.  For JME, the project consisted of designing new high-efficiency heating and cooling systems for the new addition as well as the new domestic plumbing system.  Learning environments in the new school will be improved using a ventilation system that has reduced system noise and includes air filtration systems to help keep students and staff healthy.  The project was designed using Building Information Modelling (BIM) which helps to reduce construction conflicts and delays.   Utilization of low maintenance systems will serve to reduce operational costs for the school district for the life of the building.

We can’t wait to watch as the build team, headed up by Jackson Contracting Group, brings the design to reality.  They are in the process of creating the new footprint of the school.  The aerial video below shows the beginning stages of construction.   Take a look!!
