3D Modeling

JM Engineering offers a specialized 3D project rendering pre-build. This project at CS Porter School replaces an old heating and ventilation system. We designed a new variable air volume system (VAV) that distributes conditioned air to each classroom. The system will monitor the CO2 levels in each classroom and office and adjust the outside air accordingly to provide a healthy learning environment. When the outside air is not needed in rooms, the quantity of air is reduced, which saves energy/money. The schools that we have designed no longer smell like hot dogs and smelly socks. The air temperature is comfortable and free from drafts.

JME uses (and recommends using) Autodesk Revit MEP for Building Information Modeling. While this fully-featured software is flexible, versatile and user-friendly, learning to use it correctly does take time and a fair bit of technical knowledge.
